With over 20 years experience in the local real estate market I can negotiate the best price for you in today’s market.

Obtaining my broker’s license in 1983 gave me the advanced skills needed to market homes competitively, to be aware of current financing trends and to negotiate contracts. Additionally, I completed the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s course on historic properties.

Having lived in the Washington metro area for many years, I have a personal commitment to this outstanding community. As a member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, I demonstrated my commitment to real estate by being a volunteer on task forces related to the lockbox selection process and analysis of the regional multiple listing system, a beta tester of the multiple listing software before its dissemination to the user agents, and currently serve on the NVAR Technology Advisory Group.

When not involved in real estate, I am “looking for my dead relatives” in libraries, cemeteries and on the Internet. My interest in genealogy led me to research the necessary documentation to chart my descent from Mayflower passengers John Alden and Priscilla Mullins; I have recently “proved” that line and have received membership in the Mayflower Society.
